*** NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) Petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.PC seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.158 dated 10.12.2022 under Sections 379/441/511 of IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station Ladhowal, District Ludhiana, Punjab (Annexure P-1).

Vide order dated 19.01.2023 while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 19.01.2023, petitioner has joined the investigation. He further submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties and in this regard a petition bearing CRM-M-19108-2023 has been filed before this Court for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise, which is fixed for 01.08.2023 and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. The learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Gurmeet Singh has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his further investigation in the present case is not required.

In view of the above, interim order dated 19.01.2023 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The present petition stands disposed off.
