**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.PC for setting aside the order dated 04.04.2022 (Annexure P-5) passed by Addl. Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran vide which concession of bail granted to the petitioner was cancelled and the bail bonds and surety bonds are cancelled and forfeited to the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of noting a wrong date, the petitioner was unable to put in appearance on 04.04.2022 before the trial Court in the trial in FIR No.354 dated 13.06.2017. Learned counsel further submits that prior thereto, he had been regularly appearing before the trial Court and had never absented himself even on a single occasion. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready to appear and join proceedings before the trial Court. In view of the submissions made above, the petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to appear and surrender before the trial Court on or before 02.02.2023 and move appropriate application for grant of bail.
