(Oral) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to get the representation dated 30.12.2022 (Annexure P1) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps be taken in accordance with law. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 30.12.2022 (Annexure P-1) be sent to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, for necessary compliance.
