In pursuance to the order made by this Court on 19.1.2022, co-respondent No. 3 has produced before this Court, Jaspal Singh, Baljit Kaur, Hushanpreet Kaur, Jai Neel Kaur, and, Rahul Jeet. This Court has recorded the respective testifications, on oath, of Jaspal Singh, and, his spouse one Baljit Kaur. The afore made statements read as under:- Statement of Jaspal Singh "I have been forcibly kept on the brick-kiln of co-respondent No. 4. I have also not been paid till date any remuneration. I pray that the District Magistrate, Tarn Taran be directed to ensure that my wages be liquidated to me, and, my household articles lying on the said brick-kiln, be directed to be handed over to me, and, also be directed that I be ensured to be safely transported to my native abode." Statement of Baljit Kaur "I have been forcibly kept on the brick-kiln of co-respondent GURPREET SINGH 2022.01.21 18:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRWP No. 563 of 2022 -2No. 4. I have also not been paid till date any remuneration. I pray that the District Magistrate, Tarn Taran be directed to ensure that my wages be liquidated to me, and, my household articles lying on the said brick-kiln, be directed to be handed over to me, and, also be directed that I be ensured to be safely transported to my native abode." 2.

Bearing in mind the afore made statements, on oath, this Court directs the District Magistrate, Tarn Taran, to draw appropriate proceedings, in accordance with law, against co-respondent No. 4, and, to also ensure yet after giving him an opportunity of personal hearing to him, that he determines the unpaid money, if any, towards the agreed wages, and, also ensures that they become liquidated to one Jaspal Singh, and, his spouse one Baljit Kaur. Moreover, the District Magistrate, Tarn Taran, is also directed to forthwith ensure, that both Jaspal Singh, and, his spouse one Baljit Kaur along with their minor children, namely Hushanpreet Kaur, Jai Neel Kaur, and, Rahul Jeet, are safely transported to their native abode, located at village Sarli Khurd, Tehsil, and, District Tarn Taran. The household articles of Jaspal Singh, and, his spouse one Baljit Kaur, if any, lying on the brickkiln, be also ensured to be handed over to them. 3.

The petition is disposed of.
