(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.70, dated 27.02.2021 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Kotwali Patiala, District Patiala, under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 148 & 149 IPC on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).
Pursuant to order dated 04.02.2022, report dated 07.03.2022 has been received from Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any coercion, threat or undue influence.
In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.70, dated 27.02.2021 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Kotwali Patiala, District Patiala, under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 148 & 149 IPC along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
