Petitioners have moved this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the officials respondents No.1 and 2 to direct the respondent No.3 to submit cancellation report/missing report including complete further proceedings/record, whatsoever, carried out by the respondent No.3 in case FIR No.124 dated 26.6.2010 registered under Sections 406/420 IPC at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar (Annexure P-1) and in FIR No.164 dated 8.9.2012 registered under Sections GAURAV SOROT 2022.02.11 14:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Counsel for the petitioners submitted that representation dated 11.12.2021 (Annexure P-7) in this regard has also been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken as of now. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 at this stage. Mr. Saurav Khurana, DAG, Punjab. has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3.

The counsel for the petitioners submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation.

State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 11.12.2021 (Annexure P-7) in accordance with law within a period of 'one month' from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
