Petitioners, have come up before this Court under Section 482 CrPC to quash the FIR and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2.
State counsel, on instructions from ASI Amarjit Singh, submits that the present petition for quashing of FIR has rendered infructuous because after investigation a cancellation report has been filed for the second time. 3.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that even earlier cancellation report was submitted but re-investigation was ordered and matter is hanging fire from the last 15 years, now petitioner wants to travel to Canada and pendency of this FIR is coming in his way.

Be that as it may, it is clarified that the concerned Magistrate expedite this matter and take a final decision by end of this year. Till that time, it is clarified that the pendency of this FIR shall has no bearing of the petitioner in any manner, whatsoever and shall be inconsequential till the final decision taken by the Magistrate.
