NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 14.11.2018.
Reply is filed. As per the said reply, the order has been complied with. The refixation of the pay of the petitioner has been done vide Annexure R-2 and the payment in respect of the arrears have also been paid vide order dated 29.03.2019, Annexure R-3. In this view of the matter, no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the contempt petition. The same is hereby dismissed. The rule issued against the respondent(s) stands discharged. However, in case there is any discrepancy in the amount so paid by the respondent, the petitioner is at liberty to file the representation, which shall be decided in accordance with law.
