SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.177 dated 09.11.2019 registered under Section 409 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at P.S. Maur, District Bathinda. On 22.01.2020, this Court had passed the following order:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged embezzled amount for a sum of Rs.6,12,026/- has since been deposited with the Sandoha MPCASS Ltd., who has passed a resolution on 15.01.2020, whereby it has been resolved that it does not want to take any action against the petitioner. Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C." Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Ram Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. He has further instructions to submit that the petitioner is not named in any other criminal case. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 22.01.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
