ANITA CHAUDHRY, J. (Oral) Counsel for the petitioner says that he does not press this petition and the witness will appear on the next date i.e. 24.01.2017, before the Court below and his only prayer is that the crossexamination be completed on the same date as several dates are taken for cross-examination by the other side.

The impugned order shows that one last opportunity had been granted to the petitioner and witnesses have to be produced by the defendant and she has produced her entire evidence at her own responsibility. It is the duty of the defendant to produce the witnesses and conclude the entire evidence on that day. In view of what has been stated hereinabove, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the defendant shall produce the entire evidence on the date fixed.
