Mr. Sunny Singla, Advocate, for the petitioners. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) The petitioners are working as Masters/Mistresses and have been appointed on regular basis. Their grievance is that their junior (respondent No.3) is drawing higher salary. A legal notice dated 09.11.2018 (Annexure P-8) has been sent in this regard, but no action has been taken thereupon till date.
Notice of motion to respondents No.1 and 2 only. On the asking of the court, Mr. Nikhil Chopra, Addl.A.G., Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Let three copies of the petition be supplied to him during the course of the day. In view of the nature of the order being passed, there is no necessity to seek written statement.
The writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to objectively consider the legal notice (Annexure P-8) and pass a speaking order thereupon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
