Learned counsel for the legal representatives of the respondent states that the respondent - Nirmal Singh - has since died and his legal representatives have filed a fresh petition for ejectment under Section 24 of the Punjab Rent Act, 1995 and that they have no objection if the present petition is allowed and order dated 30.07.2009 passed by the Rent Controller is set aside.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the legal representatives of the respondent, present petition is allowed and the order dated 30.07.2009 passed by the Rent Controller is set aside. The legal representatives of the respondent have already availed their remedy as available in law which would be decided in accordance with the law. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
