This is tenants' revision petition to challenge the correctness of the order passed by the Rent Controller while refusing to grant leave to defend in a petition filed by the respondent under Section 13B of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949.

The learned counsel representing the respondent (landlord/owner) submits that the petitioners have purchased the property, therefore, the petition is rendered infructuous. 3.

The learned senior counsel representing the petitioners submits that the petitioners did inform him on telephone, however there is no intimation in writing.
