(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.91 dated 20.06.2019 registered under Sections 323, 341, 324, 506, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Lalru, District SAS Nagar, Mohali and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 17.02.2020 (Annexure P-2), effected in between the parties.

Pursuant to orders dated 25.01.2021, of this Court, the parties appeared before the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi, on 04.02.2021 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi, submitted his report along with copies of statements of the parties vide letter No.11 dated 10.02.2021, duly forwarded by the RAVINDER SINGH 2021.11.03 13:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-3386 of 2021 learned District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar, vide Endst. No.1139 dated 12.02.2021.

According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi, is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence. There are only seven accused and no accused person has been declared as proclaimed offender by the Court. Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi, and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.91 dated 20.06.2019 (Annexure P1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioners only.

Disposed of accordingly.
