Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Amritsar, Punjab to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.06 dated 21.1.2023 registered at Police Station Khilchian, District Amritsar under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is submitted thereupon at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from today.

A copy of this order be conveyed to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Amritsar, Punjab for necessary compliance.
