*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in respect of FIR No.05 dated 06.01.2020, registered under Sections 61/1/14 of The Punjab Excise Act, 1914, at Police Station Longowal, District Sangrur. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ram Singh, submits that the petitioner has confessed to his crime and has already been convicted and released on probation by the Competent Court on 27.07.2020 by imposing a fine of Rs.600/- and the present petition has been rendered infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to rebut the said averment.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
