Through instant petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, challenge has been laid to order dated 02.05.2018 (Annexure P-4) of the Principal District Judge, Family Court, Karnal. Relying upon Amardeep Singh v. Harveen Kaur, 2017(4) R.C.R.(Civil) 608 (S.C.), learned counsel for both the sides have jointly prayed to condone the period of six months for second motion to record joint statement of the parties seeking divorce by mutual consent under Section 13B(2) of the Hindu Marriage Act.
