Admittedly, the route permit, granted in favour of the petitioner, has been cancelled by the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Bathinda, without following the procedure prescribed under Section 86 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and in non-compliance of the principles of natural justice.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is allowed and the order in question dated 10.11.2021 is set aside with liberty to the competent authority to pass a fresh order after granting an opportunity of hearing to all concerned.
