Jatinder Singh v. Balbir Singh Rai
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH C.R. No. 3599 of 2014 (O & M) Date of decision: 10.05.2017 Jatinder Singh ....Petitioner(s)
Versus
Balbir Singh Rai
...Respondent(s)
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G.S.SANDHAWALIA
Present:
None for the petitioner.
Ms. Sukhmani Tiwana, Advocate, for Mr. Vikas Singh, Advocate, for the respondent.
G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) None is present on behalf of the petitioner. On the last date of hearing also, none was present. On 20.01.2015, the interim protection granted on 08.09.2014 had been vacated. The application for further grant of interim protection was also dismissed on 09.02.2015 on account of the fact that there were no details given as to whether any rent was being paid by the tenant.
Counsel for the respondent submits that possession as such has been taken by the respondent-landlord.
In such circumstances, it is apparent that the present revision petition has become infructuous and the same is dismissed for want of prosecution. Accordingly, all interim orders stand vacated. 10.05.2017 (G.S.
