Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.268, dated 16.10.2025, under Sections 21, 27-A and 29 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar Rural.

Today, on the very outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present petition, petitioner has already been released on default bail under section 187(3) of BNSS, 2023, by the Court of Sessions, vide order dated 02.05.2026. Photocopy of the said order is produced in the Court, and same is taken on record. Therefore, he submits that present petition can be disposed of, as the same having been rendered infructuous.
