Petitioners have moved this petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents No.2 & 3 to protect lives and liberty of the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioners submitted that detailed representation dated 5.1.2022 (Annexure P-2) in this regard has also been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken as of now. The counsel for the petitioners submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation.

State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 5.1.2022 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
