Present writ petition has been filed inter-alia praying for restraining the respondents from finalizing the recruitment process of Elementary Trained Teachers (ETTs) till conclusion of 2nd year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education Course (2018-2020) and to consider the case of petitioners for the posts in question, in case, their names fall in the merit list, on the basis of Advertisement dated 06.03.2020.

This Court while deciding a Batch of 4 writ petitions (CWP-3363-2021 titled as Daljit Kaur & others Vs. State of Punjab & others) vide order of even date, has quashed the above advertisement along with entire selection process, including provisional merit list.
