By this petition, filed under the provisions of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C, the petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail, upon FIR no.182, dated 11.12.2020, having been registered at Police Station Sadar Malout, Sri Muktsar Sahib, alleging therein the commission of offences punishable under Sections 307, 323/34 of the IPC. Learned State counsel submits that as per his instructions the petitioner was arrested on 31.01.2021 and therefore this petition has been rendered infructuous, with Mr. Sekhon not denying the same.
