The present contempt petition has been filed alleging deliberate and intentional disobedience of the order dated 27.05.2025 passed in CWP-154842025, whereby the respondents were directed to consider and decide the representations dated 26.08.2021 and 11.10.2021 (Annexure P-7 and P-8) filed by the petitioners, and pass a speaking and reasoned order thereupon in accordance with law within a period of six months.

Learned State counsel submits that, in compliance with the order dated 27.05.2025, a speaking order dated 17.03.2026 has been passed by Ms. Hitinder Kaur, Health and Family Welfare, Punjab, and a copy of the said order has been produced, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.

A perusal of speaking order dated 17.03.2026 shows that order dated 27.05.2025 passed in CWP-15484-2025 has been complied with. 4.

In view of the above, the contempt stands purged and the rule is LALITA 2026.03.27 17:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document discharged.

Needless to say that liberty is however granted to the petitioners to challenge the speaking order dated 17.03.2026 in accordance with law. 6.
