(ORAL) By way of the present petition prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, directing the respondent to produce the daughter of the petitioner. Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab has produced before this Court an order dated 13.01.2023 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No.381-2023 moved at the instance of Ms. Manpreet Kaur i.e. the daughter of the present petitioners seeking protection of life and liberty. Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with a liberty to approach the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for the purpose of pre-litigation mediation. Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
