(Oral) The present petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent for grant of parole to the petitioner for a period of 02 weeks for the purpose of getting done the registry of his land measuring 6 kanals under Section 3 (1) (a) and (d) of the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 as amended up to date. Learned State counsel at the very outset, on instructions has informed the Court that the petitioner was released on interim bail on 23.02.2022 and he has surrendered back on 25.02.2022. In view of the above statement, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same stands disposed of.
