The revision petitioners are aggrieved about the closure of their side without affording appropriate opportunity and the Court has passed an order dismissing the application for reopening the evidence on an observation that there is no power left with the Court to reopen the case. The Presiding Officer has not apprised himself with the law on the issue as laid down by this Court in Santosh Kumar Berry Vs. Nirmala Devi and others 2013(1) PLR 404.

The impugned order is set aside and the petitioners are allowed to have the case reopened and continue with the crossexamination. 3.
The revision petition is allowed.
