(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a case arising from FIR No.62 dated 16.07.2018, registered under Section 22 of the NDPS Act, at Police Station Bhandson, Patiala. According to the prosecution, petitioner was apprehended with conscious possession of 1000 ML intoxicant liquid of Codeine Phosphate besides 230 tablets of Carisoprodol. Learned counsel contends that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. The alleged recovery falls under 'small quantity". No recovery is to be effected from the petitioner. CRM-M-2635 of 2019 --2-- a sufficient long time. No useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in jail any more during trial. Considering overall facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed.
