CRM-M No.3631 of 2022

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M No.3631 of 2022 Date of Decision: 09.02.2022 Mahendra Kumar

Versus
Union Territory, Chandigarh & ors.
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANOOP CHITKARA
Present:
Mr. H.S. Saini, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. Shashank Bhandari, APP, UT, Chandigarh.
**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J.
Petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 CrPC seeking directions to respondents no.1 and 2 for registration of FIR on the basis of complaint dated 01.07.2021 (Annexure P-8) against respondents no.4 to 7 for committing the offences of fraud, cheating, embezzlement of gold items/ornaments. Notices served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel. Given the nature of the order that this Court proposes to pass, neither the response of official respondents nor the issuance of notices to the private respondents is required. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if a time bound direction is issued to Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, respondent no.2, to decide the representation dated 01.07.2021 (Annexure P-8), which is pending with him.
Given above, the prayer is innocuous. As such, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, respondent no.2, to decide the representation (Annexure P-8) within three weeks from today. In case of any unaddressed grievance, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach this Court again in accordance with law. However, it is clarified that this order is not a blanket bail for any other matter whatsoever. ASHWANI KUMAR 2022.02.09 13:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
