The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against them vide FIR No. 01, dated 1.1.2021, Police Station Sadar Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur, under Sections 452, 323, 148 and 149 IPC (Sections 324, 325 and 326 IPC added later on).

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the FIR came to be lodged under some misunderstanding which has now been resolved and the parties have compromised the matter. It has further been submitted that in fact a petition for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise has already been filed in this Court and pursuant MOHAN SINGH 2021.11.17 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-3587-2021 (O&M) to interim directions issued by this Court, the statements of the parties had already been recorded before the Illaqa Magistrate. 3.

Learned State counsel has informed that petitioner No.1-Jobanpreet Singh has joined investigation pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court. No interim directions for joining investigation had been issued qua petitioner No.2-Dilpreet Singh though his arrest had been stayed.

Keeping in view the aforesaid position wherein the matter is stated to have been resolved amongst the parties, the instant petition is accepted and the interim directions issued qua petitioner No.1Jobanpreet Singh @ Harjoban Singh, issued this Court vide order dated 27.1.2021 are hereby made absolute. It is further ordered that in the event of arrest, petitioner No.2-Dilpreet Singh be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. The aforesaid bail granted to the petitioners are subject to the condition that the petitioners shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. 5.

The petition stands allowed accordingly.
