ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to decide her representation dated 22.02.2021 (Annexure P-8) and subsequent reminders dated 17.08.2021 (Annexure P-9) pursuant to communication dated 09.02.2021 by `Haryana Staff Selection Commission'.

On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel joins proceedings and submits that representation dated 22.02.2021 (Annexure P-8) recited in the petition has not been received in the Office of Director General Health Services, Swasthya Bhawan, Panchkula, Haryana (respondent No.2). Under instructions of Shri Ali Jan, Assistant of department, she submits that, in case the petitioner now approaches the competent authority, appropriate orders in accordance with law would be passed.

On a Court query, learned State counsel submits that one post of Multi Purpose Health Worker (Female) in the category in which the petitioner had applied i.e. Economically Backward persons in General Castes Category (EPBG), is lying vacant.

In the premise, the writ petition is disposed of with the expectation that on the petitioner being approached the competent authority as submitted by learned State counsel, appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law. The instant petition be also treated as supplementary representation for the benefit of better comprehension of the case by the competent authority before passing the orders. 5.
Let the needful be done with a period of 60 days from today. 6.
Till the passing of the orders, a post lying vacant shall not be filled up.
