The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to retain him on the pay roll as per policy dated 06.09.2019 (Annexure P-3). He is further seeking direction to respondents to decide his appeal in a time bound manner.

Mr. Virender Kumar, counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed if respondents are directed to decide his appeal (Annexure P-6) in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel submits that Appellate Authority would consider appeal of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order within two months from today. She further assures the Court that case of the petitioner would be considered in the light of similarly situated employees. 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees with aforesaid arrangement.

In the wake of statement of learned State counsel, the present petition stands disposed of.

9.

Let the needful be done within a period of two months from today.
