The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to issue them passport.

The petitioners have been concededly implicated in FIR No. 9 dated 08.04.2017, under Sections 406, 498-A, 120-B of IPC, registered at Police Station NRI, District Jalandhar (Rural). The police after completing investigation filed its report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. The trial court has framed charges and matter is at prosecution evidence stage. 3.
