This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by petitioner complainant Manpreet Kaur Grewal through her father Sh. Ginderjit Singh Grewal for issuance of appropriate directions to the official respondents including Commissioner of Police (Rural), Ludhiana for prompt investigation in the case got registered by her against her husband Attarpreet Singh vide F.I.R No. 6 dated 7.3.2019, under Section 498-A IPC registered with Police Station NRI, Ludhiana Rural. Notice of motion.

Mr. J.S. Ghumman, DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of State of Punjab. He on instructions from ASI Joginder Pal Singh has informed that a cancellation report in the matter has been filed in the Court of JMIC Jagraon on 28.2.2020.
