**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) This is a petition under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 for issuance of a direction to official respondents for conducting fair and impartial inquiry from an officer not below the rank of DSP regarding the incident happened with the minor son of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur, to look into the representation dated 01.03.2024 (Annexure P-5), within a time bound manner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur to look into the representation SANGEETA 2025.01.24 10:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-2981-2025 dated 01.03.2024 (Annexure P-5) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The order so passed be conveyed to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

In the afore-said direction, the present petition stands disposed of.
