(Oral) Challenge in the present revision petition by the landlord is to the order dated 01.03.2017 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Rent Controller, Ludhiana whereby provisional rent has been assessed. The Division Bench judgment in 'Tirlok Singh Anand Vs. M/s Prem Chand & Sons and others' 2013 (1) RCR (Civil) 488 followed by 'Taninder Tandon Vs. Dr. Anjan Parkash Kaur' 2015 (1) RLR 191 and 'Ajay Partap Singh Vs. Gurdial Singh and others' 2016 (2) RCR (Rent) 475 have held that a appeal is maintainable against the said order. Faced with this situation, counsel does not want to press the present revision petition and prays for withdrawal of the same with liberty to approach the Appellate Authority in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.
