IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH 2024:PHHC:009478 CRM-M-2558-2020 Date of decision: January 24th, 2024 Nisha Gupta @ Nisha Aggarwal .....Petitioner

Versus

State of Haryana and others .....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE MANJARI NEHRU KAUL

Present:

Ms. Puja Chopra, Advocate for the petitioner.

Ms. Trishanjali Sharma, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana.

Mr. Lekh Raj Sharma, Mr. Abhishek Sharma and Mr. Abhikant Vats, Advocates for respondents No.2 to 4.

None for respondents No.5 and 6.

MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the accused had been extended the concession of anticipatory bail by the learned trial Court without appreciating the gravity of the offence inasmuch as the accused had played a huge fraud upon the complainant and others by selling land, which already stood acquired by HUDA (now HSVP). However, learned counsel appearing for the accused has brought to the notice of this Court that subsequently, challan stood presented before the trial Court concerned and the accused-respondents had already been extended the concession of regular bail. Hence, the prayer which has been made by the complainant-petitioner has been rendered infructuous.

In the circumstances, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
