**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty and provide security to the petitioners who are presently living together since 10.01.2023 in a livein-relationship and not to interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioners at the behest of respondent Nos.4 to 9.

Mr. Gaurav Vir Singh Behl, Advocate, puts in appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.4 and 5 and has filed his Power of Attorney in Court, which is taken on record.

Both the parties are present in person. The girl namely Riya Ansal aged 14 years and 08 months being a minor wishes to join the company of her father namely Paramjeet Singh who is present along with Mr. Gaurav Vir Singh Behl, Advocate, without any coercion and pressure. CRWP-512-2025 The Court, therefore, directes petitioner No.2 to join the company of her father.

At the same time, Karan Singh-petitioner No.1 who is also present in Court states in the presence his counsel Mr. Sagar Sharma, Advocate as well as the State counsel Mr. B.S. Virk, Senior DAG, Haryana, that he rang up the girl i.e. petitioner No.2 namely Riya Ansal on 10.01.2023 to come and join his company at the bus-stand of Yamuna Nagar and took her along upto village Kayal and thereafter went to his parents house, who refused to accept them and rather instructed to handover the girl-petitioner No.2 to her parents. He further states that they kept on wandering on the roads till night and then came to Ambala and since then have been staying there in a rented room near Ambala bus-stand. Thereafter he contacted the Advocate to file the petition on 12.01.2025.

In the light of above, learned counsel for the petitioners does not wish to press the instant petition any further. Accordingly, without going further into the merits of the petition, the same is dismissed as withdrawn. (SANDEEP MOUDGIL) JUDGE 21.01.2025 Sangeeta Whether reasoned/speaking:
