Pursuant to order dated 23.01.2022, the statement of the alleged detenue was recorded before the Judicial Magistrate First Class/Duty Magistrate, Fatehabad on 23.01.2022 itself. As per the statement, the alleged detenue has stated that the petitioner has been harassing her and her family and that she had been forced into marriage and a physical relationship with the petitioner. It has further been stated by the alleged detenue that she wishes to get a divorce from the petitioner and that she has been mentally disturbed and she wants to continue residing with her parents and wishes to have no relationship with the petitioner.
