Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of anticipatory bail, in case, FIR No.28, dated 22.02.2025, under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC, registered at Police Station Navi Baradari, District Jalandhar.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is presently hospitalized due to a serious medical condition and is not even in a position to move out.

It is further submitted that a cheque amounting to Rs.20 lakhs had already been handed over to the Investigating Officer by the petitioner in the month of January, 2025; however, the said cheque was never presented for encashment. In view of the observations recorded in the order dated 22.05.2026, learned counsel for the petitioner reiterates the request for withdrawal of the present petition.
