Only prayer of the petitioners is that they have served legal notice, Annexure P-8 for the cause of action that has arisen in the writ petition. However, no decision has been taken thereon. On the asking of the court, Mr. Nikhil Chopra, Addl.A.G., Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. He submits that decision on the legal notice, Annexure P-8 shall be taken by the competent authority within four weeks.

In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same is hereby disposed of.

A copy of the order passed shall be conveyed to the petitioners forthwith.
