Prayer made in the present petition is to refix the pay of the petitioner after granting the benefit of option submitted on 24.02.1998. 2.

In preliminary objection No.1 of the written statement, it has been stated that the petitioner had opted for new pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.1996, Annexure R-1, and not w.e.f. 31.12.1995 as has been stated, to which there was no replication.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, reserving the petitioner with a liberty to get it revived, in case need arises.
