Mr. Bhupender Beniwal, AAG, Punjab ANIL KSHETARPAL, J(Oral) Petitioner has prayed for grant of regular bail in FIR No.128, dated 06.05.2014, registered under Sections 222, 223, 224, 302, 201, 364, 365, 342, 149, 120-B IPC at Police Station Civil Line, District Amritsar. Petitioner claims parity with Makhtool Singh and Angrej Singh. He relies upon order dated 25.02.2019 passed by this court in CRMM-3095-2019. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-state has submitted that the prosecution has already concluded its evidence. He further brings to the notice of the court that yesterday application under Section 311 Cr.P.C. was allowed by this court permitting State to examine one additional witness.

Keeping in view the fact that Makhtool Singh and Angrej Singh, whose cases are also parallel to the petitioner-Randhir Singh, it is ordered that the petitioner be released on regular bail subject to furnishing NARESH KUMAR 2019.04.09 17:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-2402-2019 (O&M) -2of adequate surety to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Accordingly the petition is allowed with the aforesaid directions.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that after having been released on bail, the accused tried to delay the proceedings in the case. Since, the trial of the case is at the fag end, learned trial court is impressed upon to conclude the trial positively within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
