(ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner by way of instant petition prays for grant of parole for four weeks to the petitioner to enable him to take care of his agricultural land and to take care of his old parents. Learned counsel for the respondent-State has shared a short reply by way of affidavit of Devi Dayal, Superintendent, District Jail, Panipat dated 19.02.2021 wherein it is stated that the Commissioner, Karnal Division, Karnal has sanctioned the house repair parole of the petitioner on the recommendation of the District Magistrate, Sonipat by endorsement dated 19.02.2021.

Consequently, in view of the reply filed by the respondentState, the instant petition is rendered infructuous. The instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the Court again in case the reply filed is factually incorrect.
