(ORAL) After arguing at length, when confronted with the provisions of The Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 and the instructions and rules issued in relation thereto, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to pursue the representations dated 20.01.2022 (Annexures P-8 and P-9) before the respondent-authorities.
Mr. Deepak Balyan, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana submits that the petitioner's representations would be considered and decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of one week and the decision thereon would be communicated to it accordingly. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition which is accordingly disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
