(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite deposit of an amount of Rs.24,000/- in the office of Transport Department, Haryana, vehicle has not been released so far. Petitioner had all the documents and the same were shown to the concerned officer. The vehicle was manufactured in the year 2002 and its validity is upto 23.03.2022. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vivek Chauhan, Addl. A.G., Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State and submits PRINCE SAINI 2022.02.03 17:15 I attest to the accuracy of this order

CWP No.1477 of 2022(O&M) that the petitioner was plying his vehicle in NCR Zone. Vehicle is more than 15 years of age and the petitioner has to approach the concerned authority by way of an appropriate prayer for release of the vehicle in accordance with guidelines. At this stage, the present writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach respondent No.3. In the event of approaching and moving an application, respondent No.3 shall pass an appropriate order in accordance with law and as per guidelines framed in pursuance of order dated 07.04.2015 passed by Hon'ble NGT Delhi in OA No.21 of 2014 and order dated 29.10.2018 passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in SLP (C) No.13029 of 1985.
