(Oral) Learned State counsel has today filed an affidavit of Shri Iqbal Singh Dhaliwal, Superintendent, Central Jail, Kapurthala, wherein it has been deposed that case of the petitioner for his premature release has already been initiated vide office letter No.5729, dated 20.6.2022. The aforesaid affidavit is taken on record.

In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the authorities concerned to finally dispose of the matter as regards premature release of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of 2 months from today. A copy of this order be conveyed to the respondents for necessary compliance.
