(Oral) Petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the impugned order dated 20.12.2022 (Annexure P-11) passed by the Assistant Labour Commissioner-cum-Authority under the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, Union Territory, Chandigarh. When confronted with the maintainability of the writ petition as the petitioner can avail the alternative remedy of appeal to challenge the order dated 20.12.2022, learned counsel does not press this writ petition in order to avail the alternative remedy and prays for withdrawal of the same. The prayer is accepted.
