Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner(s) in case FIR No. 272 dated 25.12.2018, registered under Section(s) 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 at Police Station Meharban, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has since joined the investigation and he is not required for further investigation in any way. Thus, he be released on pre-arrest bail. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from Sukhwinder Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector, affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for further investigation.
