RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for quashing of demarcation report dated 08.09.2023, Annexure P-5, of the Path (Pahi) from RO Filter Dahban Wala Rah to Sri Muktsar Sahib Road at village Deon which is done in an illegal manner to give undue advantage to private respondents Nos.8 and 9 to protect their house and boundary wall for demolition which have actually been constructed by encroaching the above said Path (Pahi) in the interest of justice. It is further prayed to direct respondents No.2 to 6 to demarcate the path (Pahi) from RO Filter Dhaban Wala Rah to Sri Muktsar Sahib Road in a proper and illegal manner by identifying the permanent pillars in the village for the purpose of measurement of the land, in the interest of justice. It is also prayed to direct respondents No.

2 and 3 to decide the representation, dated 18.09.2023, Annexures P-8 and P-9, in the interest of justice. It is also prayed to stay the proceedings on demarcation report dated 08.09.2023, Annexure P-5, during MEENU 2024.01.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner would be satisfied if his representation, dated 18.09.2023, Annexure P-9, is decided in a time bound manner. Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On the asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and going through the facts of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda, to look into the representation, dated 18.09.2023 Annexure P-9, and decide the same expeditiously preferably within four weeks from today in accordance with law.
